Your legal name, EIN, website, and address are initially sourced from the IRS. Owners and Admins can update the website and address in the Chariot dashboard, along with your organization’s Preferred Name and Logo.

This information may be used externally by Chariot’s grantmaker partners or on DAFpay donation receipts and grant confirmations. Keeping it up to date ensures your nonprofit is clearly represented and easy to verify.

Your logo appears in donor-facing experiences and partner reports, so using a clear, current image helps reinforce your organization’s credibility.

Your Preferred Name is the name shown to donors across Chariot products. It functions like a “Doing Business As” (DBA) name and is helpful if your organization is commonly known by a different name than its IRS listing.
