DAFpay Network

The DAFpay Network (DPN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps facilitate donations between donor-advised funds (DAFs) and nonprofits.

The DAFpay Network is used when a donation is initiated through DAFpay and the nonprofit has not yet claimed their Chariot Deposit Account.

DAFpay Network (EIN: 93-1372175)

How It Works

If your organization has not claimed a Chariot account, the DAFpay Network temporarily receives and holds funds from DAFpay donations on your behalf.

If the account is not claimed within 5 days of funds arriving, DPN will issue and mail a check to your nonprofit’s IRS-registered address.

Standard DAFpay fees of 2.9% apply to these donations. Additional Fundraising Platforms fees may apply.

If your organization receives DAFpay gifts via The Chesed Fund, CauseMatch, ChabadOne, Charidy or Rayze. It, then those donations will continue to be disbursed via the DAFpay Network, even after you've claimed your Chariot Deposit Account.

Check Policy

Issued checks are valid for 90 days. After this period, unclaimed funds will be voided.

While we take all reasonable steps to attempt to grant donated funds according to the donor's recommendation, DPN retains exclusive legal control over all donations. In the cases when a nonprofit does not claim the donation, we will attempt to contact the donor or grant the funds to a charity in the DPN Directory that operates in a similar cause area.
