Eligibility Requirements

DAFpay by Chariot is available exclusively to U.S.-based 501(c)(3) organizations and IRS-recognized public charities. See Organization Eligibility.

This includes a diverse array of groups such as national relief organizations, educational institutions, religious entities, and local food banks, etc.

Some exceptions apply—houses of worship like churches, synagogues, and mosques may qualify even if they haven't officially filed for 501(c)(3) status.

However, eligibility depends on each DAF provider’s policies regarding unlisted religious organizations.

Chariot does not support 501(c)(4) organizations or private foundations (operating or non-operating) due to DAF regulations.
